trentstout23
just finished installing and everything works except navigation. i mounted the antenna on the dash. it shows my location but i cant access the menu to input an address. its installed in 2013 tacoma. i didnt hook up the pink wire(car speed signal input) or violet/white( reverse gear signal input) wires. i read on here that everything should work fine without these two wires hooked up. i cant click on anything nav-related because its not lit up on the screen. trentstout23
i did this parking brake bypass. could this be the reason? my settings menu is the same way with most of the settings "grayed out" so i cant click on anything http://www.amazon.com/Parking-Override-Bypass-Automatic-Pioneer/dp/B008I5S4AW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1368028076&sr=8-2&keywords=parking+brake+bypass+avic+x940bt
1loudls
if options are greyed out, then it sounds like you have a problem with your bypass.
1loudls
you say that you used that bypass, did you make sure the pin was in the right slot? is that wire grounded, and is the pioneer parking brake wire grounded? i have a feeling that your problem lies with one of these steps...
