Need help with GPS

Hello,

 

Ive had the AVIC-Z2 in my show car for the last 3 years and was just sitting there. So I decided to put it in the tiburon that I just bought, felt bad it wasnt being used.

So now that its installed, I do have a few question in regards to the GPS.

I currently reside in Canada and everything is set for the United States.

 

When I do a search or POI it always refers me to a American address.

Is there anyway to change the country?

And I just upgraded the firmware 4 days ago because it would not start. But is now running good. Could this have been a factor. Im not really sure as I havnt used it untill a few days ago.
