treg1
My Avic n3 is putting allot of engine noise out of the rca outs. I know its the n3 because I put another head unit in and no noise. I was told to ground the rca's to the chassis of the head unit and that would take care of it. My question is Will a ground loop isolator do the same thing as grounding the rca's. Or will none of this work at all being the noise is coming from the head unit. Itchy
i/ve found that ground loop isolators also impair signal quality. best option would be to find a good ground source. c
treg1
Noise problem fixed. i tried a ground loop isolator and no change in the loud engine noise. I grounded the rca wire to the head unit and no more noise.
