andru1313 Posted February 16, 2007 Report Share Posted February 16, 2007 Ok I have a VW R32. Just installed the Z1. I used the ADT-VA133 cage and trim ring. I can't get the trim ring to sit flush. It pokes out a bit. I was wondering if I cut the tab lips from around the edges if that would work or if anyone knows of any other cage housing. Any help is appreciated. DMB#41 Posted February 16, 2007 Report Share Posted February 16, 2007 I am having the same problem. The trim ring just doesn't jive with them AVIC-Z1. I trimmed down the lip on the back of the ring and got it to sit flush but it still moves around a bit. I was thinking of using some epoxy to hold it in place. Any suggestions/comments on this?
