Preroll
The first firmware update (or last F/W update I should say) for the Z150 and X950 was on 4-30-13. Is there any pattern to when Pioneer releases these updates or is it only when they see necessary? There really doesn't seem to be any rush on their part to address some of the Appradio issues or add any additional features like POI on routes, etc. Garmin, on the other hand, seems to have an update a quarter to address fixes as well as added features. VBLUE42
You will be lucky to see another update before the unit is discontinued which will mean no more updates at all. And they never add features that aren't already part of the unit unless its part of a map upgrade. You may see a bug update before its discontinued but don't hold your breath. Preroll
Yeah...it's pretty sad how these products are handled. I guess the market share is greater for Garmin products vs. Pioneer but one would hope they'd have a little more input than that. I'm assuming the same goes for the SPH series as well?
