Reaper1
Hey guys, I have the D3 on order and now I want to get some monitors for the back seat passengers. You know, kids watching cartoons so they don't drive me crazy on a long drive. My question is: Does Pioneer make a good monitor or should I go with the Alpine TMEM 710 like I had originally planned. Thanks in advance. Reap
cntrylvr79
As far as picture quality goes I'd say go with the alpine.
aznsmartass24
Is there a reason why alpine is better than pioneer for monitors? I personally have boss monitors because they are dirt cheap. Has anyone used boss monitors? I want to see what i really got by saving a couple hundred and going with this generic brand. cntrylvr79
Between the two I like alpine because the picture just seems to be clearer. Like the difference between a tube tv and an lcd when watching hd.
Two_Cold
Dump the Boss ASAP. I went that route and they were good for about 3 months, then pixels went dead, followed by entire lines. The other monitor lasted a bit longer but it eventually had issues with colors and that is when I dumped them. I then bought a brand name (Clarion I think) and I have been amazed with the quality since then. It has now been 2.5 years and they are as good as new.
