VBLUE42
Refer to the supported apps for your unit.

VBLUE42
It is assumed they will all use the navi antenna from the unit. And in reference to this topic an iOS device is an iOS device. The unit knows no difference between a phone and an iPod.

VBLUE42
There is no way to solve it if the app wont look for the unit's GPS antenna. Have you tried Waze or Navfree? Also try the newest update for the unit found at Pioneer's website. One of the issues it addresses deals with the GPS antenna.
mpatt123
Nav free is the one that wont look for i will go away and try the other options you speak of and see if this resolves this.Do you have a link for the newest update

wei803
Try open the Map app and see it that works.
DP3343
Navfree will work with your iPod touch and doesn't require a data connection. Just download the app for your appropriate area. A paid app that works the same way is MotionX GPS but you have to pay an extra 25 dollars to enable AppRadio functionality. If you can tether your iPod to your phone to give it an internet connection, Waze works fantastic as well and uses very little data.
