DP3343 Posted February 4, 2014 Report Share Posted February 4, 2014 This has been covered about a billion times. iOS defaults to enabling the overscan protection when mirroring the screen, which is the cause of your black bars. AppRadio Apps turn off overscan protection through a command in their programming, which is why they display fullscreen. Apple has not given the users any way to turn overscan protection off.
