stopher
How can I allow Pandora to show up in my sources? The only way I can use Pandora is through the "Bluetooth Audio" source. Pandora does not show up. In "App Connection," Android is selected but there is also a notification saying that it can't be changed while the device is connected. When I turn off bluetooth on either the head unit or my Galaxy S4, it still says the same thing. I have a AVIC-X950BH with the mute bypass mod if that makes a difference... Hammer1916
Only way pandora will show up is if it is connected with the correct pioneer cables. You need the MHL adapter. Only way to change is to delete paired phone and reconnect it to change settings.
stopher
If I could rep you, I would. I've been trying to find the answer for this question everywhere. I was always under the impression that no cables were needed, only bluetooth streaming to use Pandora and answering Yes to "Is this Android?" Thanks for the help. Hammer1916
You can run Pandora from your phone and use bluetooth audio to listen but it will not work from the Pandora app on the HU.
esqueue
I figured that I had to chime in to save anyone money. To use the S4 you need the MHL 2.0 adapter. You don't need any special pioneer cables that they charge lots of money from. All you need is a regular HDMI cable for it to work. They force you to buy a cable if you want to use an external usb device though. Source: I have a galaxy s4 and didn't buy any extra cables from pioneer.
