Bodhisattva Posted May 25, 2014 Report Share Posted May 25, 2014 hey all, i picked up one of these cheap locally as it has a problem its the old "screen image may appear reversed" issue. after a reset or off power for over 5 mins when you switch it on it goes through the language then the press ok bit, the icons pop up for 1 second then its stuck in the "screen image may appear reversed" bit and i can get it out. i dont have the control harness but i manually simulated the handbrake and reverse pins and its still locked out and wont respond. am i being silly and missing something simple. when simulating the handbrake and reverse i assume you just earth them?? any ideas? jones66 Posted September 15, 2014 Report Share Posted September 15, 2014 i think that it's a software problem! i have The rear camera with 12v option select, if I touch The rear camera on The right top screen, The radio start one loop show black screen whit the rear camera message and after return to normally function and nex black screen.... The only reset metod is to disable the rear camera in the settings menu, exit and reselect the 12 volt option. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
