fotomkr
Hello good people I just upgraded my AVIC Z140 to work with my iPhone 5S. To do this, I had to purchase the CD-IV2020 NAVI cable from Pioneer (C$99.99) and an Apple VGA to lightning adapter (C$55.00). Also had to do a firmware upgrade from Pioneer (free). The installation went well and on the whole the app radio side is working fine. I have however come across the following issues: Prior to doing the upgrade, I could stream my music via Bluetooth audio without having to plug in the iPhone. Not anymore. Have to connect via app radio mode with the iPhone connected. If I try to connect direct I get a "connection not available" message. The aux input does not work. I have a RCA cable with 3.5mm mini jack connected to the audio input at the back of the HU. Could be a settings thing. The USB input seems to just charge the iPhone. When I plug in a USB flash drive with music loaded, nothing happens. Any comments would be welcome. Thanks
urtruelove78
With Appradio mode enabled Bluetooth streaming doesn't work. I Learned it hard way. If you want Bluetooth Streaming then you have to disable Appradio mode. First Point in Important section of your firmware update instruction. Click on following image for highlighted text.
