NEX questions

Recommended Posts

First post here. Looking for some info to help make a decsion on which unit I will put in my truck.

I have a 2012 ford f250 with out navigation and SYNC. I want to either retain my sync or get a radio that will allow me to use it the exact same way sync works now.( steering wheel controls, voice commands, etc... ) And allow quality Bluetooth business calls and easy to use voice commands? Is this possible to do and have the phone calls show up on the pioneer screen not a little LCD screen on one of those modules(if I keep sync)?? Make sense? If pioneer can't do it who can?

A little background:

I have an avic z120(from old truck) with Bluetooth and voice commands that are not even usable with my iPhone. I want to be sure if I pull the trigger on another one of pioneers "flagship" units that at the very least the Bluetooth will work. Has the Bluetooth and voice commands been improved since the z120??

Anything else I should know?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thx

Matt

I can't offer much for your specific needs, but I do know about this product. It might be what you are looking for...

Awesom thanks. This looks like it would fit my application.

Anyone ever used this in a ford vehicle with SYNC or any other vehicle? If so how did it work?

Do you use the stock microphone or the one off head unit?

All voice commands are essentially the same as stock?

Anything else I might need to know?

Thx

MP
