I have the ND-BC2 and i compared it with my friend who had the previous unit. The old one is very hard to conceal because the plastic enclosure is so big. With my unit, it is a little more than half the size so I was able to hide it pretty well near my license plate. The night vision is also better, and regular viewing mode is clearer as well.
