George01v6 Posted March 10, 2007 Report Share Posted March 10, 2007 Here are some pics of the AVIC installed in my 2006 Tacoma. Looks pretty good with the matching dash kit. Notice how you can change the color of the buttons to match your truck's interior lights. It does sit back a little in the dash, but I haven't found that to be a problem at all. It can let you put a faceplate over it if you wish a lot easier too. Overall, love it - XM with NavTraffic, bluetooth for my phone, Navigation, Plays DVDs and MP3 disks, and a Vehicle Analyzer (g-force, slope, voltage, speed...) all for under a $1200 from Crutchfield with the pioneer deal promo. Also, I was able to get XMradio for $77/year with the promo code XMSCION03. I had to call and tell the lady. She also put the NavTraffic on for $3.99 a month, so for a year it was a little over a $100. That's around half off! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

When I ordered the D3 from Crutchfield they gave me the Metra dash kit for free, but it was all black. I found the paint matched kit on ebay for $30 w/ shipping. Didn't have any gaps to worry about.
