chazmink
As I mentioned in another thread I have installed the D-3 in my 2002 Saab 9-5 Aero with Harmon Kardon Prestige sound. This means there is I am using the factory installed amp. The amp has a balanced line input like high end home or studio audio. I get a loud thump when the D3 turns on and, seemingly, louder thump when it turns off. Yesterday I experimented with a variety of resistors in the amp turn on lead. With resistors greater than 100 ohms the amp won't trigger and with less than 100 ohms it triggers but I still have the thump. Any ideas?

bikestlr
i had the same problem in my car (07 mustang gt) i dont know if you are in canada or not but at the source (formerly radio shack) you can get a voltage regulator for $3.49 you put the input from your deck remote wire on one side, ground on the middle pin or even the front and the lead to your amp on the other side. works great for me. http:// http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Produ ... ct=2761770 hope this helps
