I can make AVIC-D3 "backup" DVD NAV discs...

Recommended Posts

I think one application called DVDInfoPro is able to change your drive's booktype to DVD-ROM if you need to. That's what I did to make my writer able to burn Xbox 360 backups. Then, I'd probably use CloneCD to make the nav disc backup.

I haven't tried to copy the nav disc for myself yet but I'm certain it would work. Also, I recommend using Verbatim branded DVD+R DL media for best data integrity and performance.

Why don't you make a torrent of it and not charge fellow members for it?

That's not going to help anyone. The d3 discs CAN'T be used in the older units. He's talking about making copies for people who don't have access to a dual layer dvd burner.
