MisFit
so can i connect to the harness provided with the avic d1?? how? please help thanks!! the metra 70-5522 plugs into the factory sub harness and into the d1's sub out. connect the blue/ white wires together, but put a resistor between the two. somewhere between a 2.4 and a 3k
jrlathrop1
im a newbie so when you say connect the resistors to each one of the cables what do you mean by 2.5 to 3k?? sorry

Redfireshaker06
Does the resistor technique work on any vehicle? The reason I ask is my mustang I has a different voltage between stock an aftermarket so there is a pop on turn on/off. Would the resistor fix that?
MisFit
yes, the 3k is what i use on fords to eliminate the pop
