erictw
HI, I just can't figure this one out- I have a 2003 Ford E-250 van, Crutchfield says the D-3 won't fit, but the opening in my dash sure appears to be double din. There was also a site on e-bay that showed it as a fit, but I have no idea how reliable they are, they might just say that to get you to buy it. Anybody ever actually put one in a full size van? Also, how do the discount codes work at Crutchfield? thanks Eric
offroaderf150
it can fit, however, the opening may have to be trimmed on the top and bottom. i installed the z1 in my bro's 2000 explorer and just had to shave down the top and bottom lips on the radio bezel. the econoline has the same size radio so youll have to do the same thing and mount it from behind the dash piece. MisFit
yeah, trim the inner lips, use a metra 99-5805 dash kit, pop rivet the trim ring to the dash bezel, screw the side backets to the radio, then snap it in the trim ring, its very easy
