I figure the best place to mount it is in the license area, but I don't really want anything exposed and hanging out. Any other place or creative ideas that you guys put it? I will be installing a trunk release setup at the same time, so i figure I have a release inside of the cabin and on my remote and that will be sufficient. Plus I want a clean look.... Dan1701z Posted March 23, 2007 Report Share Posted March 23, 2007 I put mine here on my ex cab tacoma. Its a little low to the ground but it was the only place that wasn't totally obvious. tmiles2246 Posted March 24, 2007 Report Share Posted March 24, 2007 I drilled out the center of my rear deck lid VW emblem and installed the camera in there. You can't see the camera unless you are looking directly at the VW emblem...I'll have to send a pic. I plan to take the camera out to reinstall in another vehicle.
