06RamHemi
Hi guys, I posted this on a previous topic but am new to the forum and not sure if anyone saw it. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with the 5.7L Hemi. I need the location of the Vss wire and also the reverse. Thanks in advance. On a side note, does anyone know where I can get the bluetooth and XM tuner cheap? Bryan
MisFit
Reverse Light white/lt. green + harness at top of driver fender Speed Sense dk. blue/orange (SRT-10 only) ac PCM, black/gray plug, pin 27 The PCM is on the passenger side firewall. The black/gray plug is the second plug down from the top.
06RamHemi
Thanks. For clarification: 1. The white/Lt. green wire on drver fender is under the fuse box right? 2. I noticed a (SRT-10 only) for the Vss. Does that mean the 5.7 (non-SRT) doesn't have one? Bryan

06RamHemi
What is a Canbus? What does it do? Sorry. I've been out of aftermarket for a while and just now getting back into it. I don't remember what they are or what function they perform. Bryan
cntrylvr79
A good portion of the elctronic systems in your truck talk to each other through data lines. In this system pretty much all of the information you need is being transmitted. A canbus adaptor basically translates those digital signals into something an aftermarket radio can understand. http://www.pac-audio.com/products/produ ... ntegration you'll need the second or third one on that page.
