frst2no Posted March 29, 2007 Report Share Posted March 29, 2007 I have a avalanche with a back up cam and i mounted it in the space above the reciever hitch. i'm getting the camera with the D3 and plan on placing it there as well. ill post a pic as soon i get it mounted... I put it inside the car because I was a little concerned with possible fender-benders damaging my $250 camera. http://filebox.vt.edu/users/mciampag/Mazda/Mark's%20Car%20Pics%20019b.JPG The bumper isn't in the picture, but I can see the ground ~30" behind the car, and I can see objects at bumper-height ~18" behind the car.
