VT FIJI
I was lazy and haven't hooked up my VSS wire yet. I'll probably do it when I take the D3 back out to put a 5v regulator on the amp turn-on line. Anyway.. I get my speed via GPS. What other features does connecting the VSS wire provide? GPS has been working fine.

VT FIJI
read Sorry if this question has been covered already. The reason why I'm asking here is because I lost my installation manual and can't seem to find the information in the operation manual. A search for "VSS Wire" yields 30 pages of threads, mostly with requests of locating the VSS wire. I guess I can go on the Pioneer website and download the installation manual, but I thought someone could post a reply faster.
JHG120
Besides giving you your speed, I think it mainly allows for better gps nav and better calculation of distance. It may help with locating your surroundings and POI's, but I'm not 100% sure myself.
