  1. I'm having the same issues with my X920BT with HiDExtra HIDs with the relay harness. Unfortunately, I can't use them without the harness due to several people with my car frying their junction box without it. Can you test this... Does your audio also come back on if you unplug and reconnect your iPod? This seems to also allow me to get sound back. This is extremely strange and I wish there was a legit fix for this.
  2. Any new developments with this issue? I just had my X920BT installed and I'm also experiencing the audio cut off issue. I have aftermarket HIDs installed w/ the relay harness. Unforutnately, with my car, many have fried their junction box w/o the relay harness. One odd thing is that my audio comes back on if I unplug and reconnect my iPhone.

It's not prob if the vid/audio don't match up. You just hook it up differently on the RCA side, accordingly. It should be fine as long as it's 3.5mm on one side and 3 composite RCAs on the other.

Hmmm ok.. I'll go check another Radio Shack. My local Radio Shack didn't carry it and they don't have anyone like it listed on their website either. Checked Monoprice.com and they only have the one w/ male RCAs. I'm just looking for an easy way to hook up my PS2 whenever I need to.
  5. You're probably trying to play XVID videos. Read this: http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4950

I checked Radio Shack and they don't have anything like it. Tried eBay, but it's hard to limit the results to that exact cable.

CD-RM10 3.5mm minijack on one end and female composite video and stereo audio RCA jacks on the other end http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069685_423070322,00.html Anyone know where else I can get this kind of cable (doesn't have to be Pioneer brand)? I think $20 is a bit excessive.
  8. Seems like you're doing everything correctly. It could be the program you're using to burn the CD.
  9. Putting washers/spacers in the back will push the unit, bracket, and dash kit forward. However, to my understanding, you wants the D3 to be flush with the dash kit, meaning you will need to drill new holes on the bracket. If you want everything to be flush, you need to use both spacer to move the the bracket forward. Then drill new holes on the bracket to make the D3 flush with the dash kit. Steps: 1. Take it all out. Your D3 is should be attached to your bracket with a number or screws. Loosen them 2. Slide the D3 forward until it is flush with the front of the dash kit. If the
  10. Tried Stereotype's trick, didn't fix the high-pitched noise Tried the 5v voltage regulator on the amp turn on line, didn't fix the subwoofer thump I did however notice that if I unplug my radio antenna, the high-pitched noise goes away. The high-pitched noise is consistent no matter what mode I'm in.. radio, nav, or iPod. With the antenna unplugged, iPod plays w/o any unwanted noise. Can anyone explain this and/or have a solution to this very odd problem?

My mistake.
  12. The D3 isn't a hard drive based navi, but I thought it has a small one to keep the route in memory. If you check the specs, there's 15gb of memory. I assumed it was a small hard drive, but I could be wrong.
  13. Went with Crutchfield as well. I don't know if any of you guys used their customer service chat, but that was really helpful when I was too lazy to pick up the phone and call. Customer service is an A+ and well worth the extra money you pay... err.. saved money in my car w/ the D3!
