stevefendt11
I dont see how you cant use an AVIC as the video screen for the AVG-VDP1... The video out is an RCA cable (as seen in installation manual link below). Why cant you just install the AVG and use the Avic as the video screen? I just want the AVG so I can get the Performance readouts that it has http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/p ... Manual.pdf
MisFit
what avic do you have?
whtcrxghst
The vehicle dynamics box uses a yellow RGB cable to get video signal to the deck, not a regular video cable. Thats why it can't be used with Pioneer nav systems, they have no RGB input. If you look at the diagram you linked, the standard video cable is going to a recorder (vcr, etc.) not the display
stevefendt11
I have an N1 with N3 software The vehicle dynamics box uses a yellow RGB cable to get video signal to the deck, not a regular video cable. If you look at the diagram you linked, the standard video cable is going to a recorder (vcr, etc.) not the display Isnt there a converter from RGB to RCA? (if not they should) I just think having that would be soo tight with the Avic
MisFit
if you have the n3 software, dont you already have the vehicle dynamics mode?
stevefendt11
if you have the n3 software, dont you already have the vehicle dynamics mode? I dont know...I havent installed it yet...does it have the Horsepower and torque estimates on the N3?

whtcrxghst
Doubt it, they use a weird plug for RGB. And the picture quality would probably be awful

whtcrxghst
Don't think so. It says 26 pin to 20 pin RGB, not RGB to video. Its for older nav systems

cntrylvr79
That doesn't work with the avics. It even says so on pioneer's website and in the manual....
