Where did you guys mount the main unit for the bluetooth adapter?

Under the center console whaere it meets the dash in my 05 civic hybrid.

I have an F-150. The bluetooth and XM modules both fit behind the air conditioner controls in the dash--right under the radio.

I gonna put mine where the factory amp is since it is not being used anymore

Another question, I was reading the installation guide and it says the yellow wire needs to be connected to a source that always has power regardless of ingition switch position. Where did you guys wire yours too?

I mounted my BTB100 under the glove box in my Saab Aero. I pulled constant power from the power lead to the amp right of the passenger footwell.

You can mount it just about anywhere as long as the cables reach back to the head unit.

 

As far as the wire that has constant power goes, most all harnesses use standard coloring. Yellow is always constant power. If you wired up your harness correctly, you can tap into the yellow wire.

I have a mazda 3 and the dash right above the radio has plenty of room to store my btb200 and my sirpnr2. As for power i tapped in directly to the radio harness.

The silver box is the SIR-PNR2, black box is BTB200, small silver box on the right is the rearview camera box. The antenna is for the GPS, Sirius is near the windshield. BTB microphone on the left side of the cavity. All of this is covered with the dash panel.
