Nav is not accurate in driver’s view. Can't find vss wire.

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I’ve had my Avic-D3 for about a week now and I’m having some problems.

The navigation is way off in driver’s view but OK and accurate in for example route view with auto zoom.

In driver’s view it’s about 200-300 slower than reality. You’ll probable tell me to hook up the VSS cable but the problem is that I can’t find it.

I’ve tried to search this forum and other places and found that it should be the blue/white cable in the stereo harness (together with speaker cables and so on). I’ve hooked this up, it gave me a speed pulse increase from 0 to 1 and then it stopped. Tried to drive 30Km without it changing.

The learning process is about half way through (on right and lefts turns) and running on simple hybrid.

My car is a Honda CR-V 2004 model.

Appreciate your answers.

Thnx
