jsmithsole Posted April 9, 2007 Report Share Posted April 9, 2007 Well I replaced my N2 with the D3 on Friday, love the IPOD controls, XM display and the color options otherwise most features are generally the same. Still tweaking out on it though! I do have one question, with the N2 the external montors would display the NAV screen (and some menus) this HU only will display DVD video and IPOD video only. Otherwise it says "no input" BTW the upper screen shown has a direct hookup to the rear view camera with an RCA switch. Any thoughts/insight would be appreciated!! D3 is cheap like that and won't display navi at the top What I think you should do is go with a Z1/2 to give you the options of the D3 plus some more... Navi @ that level and position can get annoying to me, much easier to have it elevated at eye/road level. And the buttons are blue so itll match your dash too.
