GRAFY Posted April 25, 2007 Report Share Posted April 25, 2007 I assume you are talking about the laser lens that reads disks. Misfit read the problem. You can purchase a dvd / cd cleaner disk. This disk has a small brush imbedded into the disk, which when played electrostatically removes dust from the lens. This will not remove finger prints from a lens, but the only way they are going to be on there is if you have opened the unit up and touched the lens. If you do have a super dirty lens or finger prints on it, then the only way I know to clean it is to open the unit and clean the lens eye with a cue tip and some windex, thanx misfit LOL. If this method is used be very careful not to scratch the lens. Hope this helps out. These disks can be found at best buy, frys or most audio or computer stores.
