Guide/Route View not Available?

I recently had the flex cable upgraded and the unit reinstalled. For some reason the Guide View, Route View, and Vehicle Dynamics are not available. Any ideas why?

 

Also, from time to time, the map will show me moving sideways down the road. I'll use the "Modify Current Location" function and everything works great for about an hour. Then, the map slowly starts to change orientation (e.g., first shows my movement going diagonally, and eventually sideways). I have to keep modifying my location. The brain seems to be stable and pointing in the right directions. Again, ideas?

sounds like you have no vss hooked up. if so then you need to reset learn mode. that should take care of the sideways movement. the other stuff sounds like bypass issues, and if pioneer serviced it they probably changed it on you. can you still play dvd while driving?

Hmm, I'll have to check the DVD issue. I can still input directions while driving (I push the parking brake in one click), so I assume I should also be able to play a DVD. Thanks for the tip on the "sideways driving" issue.
