icemans2001
All, I just bought a D1, and installed everything except for the VSS and back-up light. I grounded the parking brake wire. I was told that it would work with this configuration. I try looking for the VSS wire behind the glove box. (Green with an orange). Wasn't able to locate it. When I power the unit, and inserted the west disc. It stuck in LA. Certain links like address search is disabled. Please help
MisFit
stuck in LA could be bad antenna connection or in demo mode. if your unit has upgraded d2 software then grounding the parking brake may not be the bypass
icemans2001
I confirmed that the Demo mode is turned off. The antenna has a strong signal according to the hardware screen. How can I determine if it has D2 software? If so do I have to just install the parking brake?
MisFit
no if it is d2, you have to repin the mute wire like the z1

supraholic
The D2 have a reset button below the SRC button on the left side. Pushing that with a pin or something will reset the unit. not sure if there is a reset on D1...
