nypanar
I am having problems with my D3. I have a 2003 Yukon with the Bose system. Unit is Rebooting, shuts off, loud noises, mutes after reboots this is all while driving. I purchased the GMOS-04 adapter that was recommended.
MisFit
your problem is most likely the interface. i hate those things
nypanar
So pretty much you are suggesting that I replace the GM adapter? Is there anything that I can check before assuming the adapter is defective?
MisFit
recheck your wiring and check the version number on the gmos. i believe the newest version is 2.6, if its older, that could be your problem
nypanar
OK I will re-check the wiring and the version #. Thanks and I will keep you posted on the outcome.
nypanar
I contacted Crutchfield. They are sending out a new replacement GM adapter. Question though. How can you save the Nav CD to the harddrive for the D3
MisFit
d3 doesnt have a hard drive, if your talking about memory nav, you input your destination and after it calculates your route you remove the disc and it will keep the route in memory
nypanar
So the purpose of the 15 gig harddrive is just to store you previous routes? Here is the link from the Pioneer website  http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v ... sComponent
MisFit
i think that refers to the amount of data on the two discs
nypanar
I am thinking about getting rid of my D3 since I can't store the Nav disk information to the harddrive. I am looking at the Z2. Is there a way to configure the unit to watch DVD's while driving. I was able to with the D3 but of course the system is still rebooting.
MisFit
no bypass for the z2 yet

nypanar
Look...this is a informational website. If I received confirmation from Pioneer/Tech before I purchased the unit, then that is on them providing the wrong info. Its their product. I invested to much time and money to receive the run around. This is why I am reaching out through this site for help. Keep your negative remarks to yourself.
cntrylvr79
And my negative comments were where? I made 2 simple statements. THat's all.
