powa
I find the routing is off when I am at downtown area with lots of tall building, is there a GPS antenna booster for the D3?
whtcrxghst
No, that is what the VSS/3D hybrid is for

whtcrxghst
It means if you connect your VSS wire, it will learn. Then using the VSS info, gyro, and previous information it should still know your approximate location even when reception is blocked (like bridges, buildings downtown, etc.)
fenguin
My accuracy increased dramatically when I mounted the GPS outside of the car versus inside.
jaytrey
hi guys...quick question: i had my antenna sitting on my dash before and i was worried that it was too obvious to outsiders. i moved it inside the dash behind the unit itself. however, i forgot to check the connection status before putting it inside. after i put it inside the dash, i looked at the status. at the green antenna that has bars has one bar...but the pics behind it have 6-7 orange sats. can anyone tell me what is optimal and what i'm suppose to be expecting? thanks guys
