PaisanNYC
I am receiving a new Equus 3100 code reader, and was hoping someone would know where the OBDII plug was on a 97 Ford Explorer? Im sure its in an obvious spot, but it's 5AM, and I am at work already. Too dark to go looking around under the dash. Thanks!

PaisanNYC
you sure it wasnt an empty bottle of JD again? LOL I have some problems tho Thing tells me I have two problems, "Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold" and " Camshaft Position A Circuit". I REFUSE to spend any more $$$ on this 10 yr old jalopy! lol
cntrylvr79
The first one sounds like a bad cat or 02 sensor. The second sounds like a problem with the camshaft position sensor.
