cntrylvr79
No, there's been plenty of people here that have mounted them on the dash of their gm trucks, and suvs.
dkardell
I tried the dash of my pathfinder and got TERRIBLE reception so I moved it out to the windshield. 100% better.
MikeAWood
I mounted mine here on my Tacoma back in 2005 and haven't had any trouble with it. In fact now that the antenna is dirty, it doesn't even stand out. I put my D3 in last weekend and mounted the GPS antenna right next to it and it works fine there as well. ok..I am retarded and can't get the picture to work.. blah... basically it is on the front fascia piece under the windshield where the windshield wipers mount. Good part is that it blends in nicely with the truck and unless you knew to look, you'd probably overlook it.
menace1930
I have 3 on my dash...xm, sirius, and nav.
westindiesfinest
if you dont have a metal dash like in my altima you can put the antenna under the dash... however because the sirius antennas suck that doesnt work well.. but i always get great reception including with my ez pass for those of you who live in nj, ny.... i would hate to have the thing on my window
