Beep13
Just wondering, I know with stock navigation and internal antenna (built into car or rear windshield) if you tint you windows your reception is affected. Just wondering, with the nav units (like z1 or d3), if I have my antenna mounted internally and I have my windows tinted will the reception be affected? Also, I know there's a few installers/retailers on this forum, do any of you guys do tints in the Phila/South Jersey area? Thanks
LUNARFX
I have my antenna mounted on the dash in the corner where the windshield meets on the same side as the A-pillar. My entire windshield is tinted 15% and the rest of my windows are 5%. The navigation works just perfectly..
Itchy
It depends on the type of tint used. film & ceramic based do not impede signal sensitivity. metallic based tints will impede sensitivity.
