rastaman Posted May 10, 2007 Report Share Posted May 10, 2007 ok...i got the vtl 300 plate cam but when i put it on map rear view mode (and im in park) it comes out black completely whats the problem? i had a "pro" install it...should ii take it back? it works when i go to put it on reverse but i need to have the ability to check when i need to ...someone help please Quote Link to post Share on other sites

hvs69 Posted May 10, 2007 Report Share Posted May 10, 2007 cntrylvr79 is absolutely right. I have the same camera. I have connected the red wire to the 12V signal (Ignition) going to my headunit. It works whenever I switch to rear-view mode irrespective of whether I am parked or driving. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Creative Posted August 3, 2007 Report Share Posted August 3, 2007 I am having a similar problem, I am just getting white lines across the screen whether it is in reverse or camera mode. I switched the camera mode from battery to gnd to see if it would make a difference but it did not. Any suggestions? Nevermind - just found out I had a bad ground!
