  1. I am having the same problem and haven't found a solution.
  2. I have a rear LCD on my Sienna with an IR transmitter. I hooked up the audio input of the LCD to the Rear Left & Right RCA plugs meant for the external amp. The IR wireless transmission works fine but I cannot independently control the main speakers and IR output. So it defeats the purpose. I wish it was possible
  3. cntrylvr79 is absolutely right. I have the same camera. I have connected the red wire to the 12V signal (Ignition) going to my headunit. It works whenever I switch to rear-view mode irrespective of whether I am parked or driving.
  4. I have a 2003 Sienna Van. Per the information on PAC's website all the Siennas made prior to 2004 are incompatible with SWI-PS. Is there any other option to control the D3 with my Steering wheel controls I already tried SR-11 pioneer wireless remote but it is very unreliable.
  5. Get TOYO VTL300 license plate cam. It performs very well in low light conditions. I am personally using it and would highly recommend it. It is pricey ~ $180
  6. Yep, the firmware upgrade did the trick. I got the latest unbranded monster pack (Firmware+Flex) flashed onto the v3i. Everything works as it should. Thanks whtcrxghst for your help.
  7. I don't believe SR11 does anything more than vol up/dn & mute from my limited testing. The Nav functions don't work. I have not tested BT.
  8. I bought VTL300 and sold my pioneer cam on E-bay. I have no comparison between the two but what sold me on VTL300 was the licensce plate mounting & low light visiibility. I must say that I am REALLY impressed with VTL300 low light image quality. Even in the middle of the night with street lights, I can clearly see everything. On paper, the specs of vtl300 are better than pioneer cam.
  9. Yes. I did register. The BTB & V3i do make an attempt to autoconnect everytime I boot D3 but the connection gets dropped after I see a window popup on my V3i for a fraction of a second (It says something like "Bond with Pioneer BT2"). This is irrespective of whether I have set V3i to "Always Ask" or "autoconnect" The other interesting thing is that if I try to do a "Direct Connect" from D3, I get pretty much same behavior with D3 stating "Connection Error". The only way I can currently connect is by manually initiating connection from my phone. Can anyone offer me any sugge
  10. The title says it all. This is contrary to what other people have reported on the BTB200 phone compatibility thread. The carrier is Cingular. The unbranded phone, I must say, was purchased from ebay and came from Malaysia. The AVIC has been set to "Autoconnect". Moto has been set to "Connect Always" for Pioneer unit. Is there something I am missing ? Should I re-flash the phone firmware to a US version (if it exists) ? Thanks.
  11. Do these images work on D3 ? Does it have more information than the D3 Navi Discs? Thanks.
  12. Yeah, I know about the video output. I am looking for an audio output (2-channel) from avic which I can hook up to the IR transmitter of the overhead LCD panel. Thanks.
  13. VSS is Vehicle Speed Sensor. Its output is proportional to actual vehicle speed. AVIC uses the information for dead reckoning i.e. estimating the position of the vehicle in the absence of GPS signals. I don't think the wire will be on OEM harness. You will have to locate the wire yourself and tap into it. Same for reverse.
  14. I am in the same boat. I called them today and said that they had none in stock and expecting them on Friday. Hotwheels: check your shipping receipt carefully. Crutchfield will show all the pending items even though they are fulfilling partial order. You need to check the quantity & BO (Backordered) columns.
