  1. I've had mine installed for 2 weeks and it's "broken". CF gave me a RMA number and some pre-paid labels to send the unit back for a swap.....I would hate to go through the trouble of taking it out, putting a new one in, just to get the same result in a couple of weeks. Anyone else with problems with this camera? I think I'm just gonna go with the VTL...
  2. OK...so I manually transfered all of my ph book entries into my D3. Only thing is...I didn't really do it all in order. How do I alphabetize the entries? Thanks...
  3. Anyone with experience with both? I have both here and can't get over the little "box" that comes with the Pioneer unit. I'm sure it helps with picture quality *somehow*. Plus the pioneer is clearly rated at 100,000lux max. Meaning it won't wash out in bright sun. How is the VTL300 in the bright sun? Thanks in advance!
  4. you're good. I've been messing with this damn phone all day and couldn't figure it out. Thanks!
  5. OK...my Razr autoconnects just fine, but it asks me to grant access EVERYTIME! The manual for the CD-BTB200 says it does this with some phones, and that there may be a setting to turn this featur OFF. ANYONE! PLEASE! Or else, I guess I'm in the market for a new phone!
  6. the tech tells me that the resistor is necessary to reduce the amount of power going into the radio. So much that, that is why my test light was not going off when I tested the lead. Not faulty equipment. So...lesson learned...don't use a test light....use a meter!
  7. Well....kind of.....does anyone know if the inline resistor that is located on the reverse lead wire is necessary? I went through hell and high water to find out that the resistor is bad. I just cut it off and connected the two leads back together. Anyone disagree with this? Should I go to Radio Shack and get one? Is it really necessary? Thanks
  8. Just wondering.....can you access the rear view cam through the D3 when you are not going in reverse (granted you installed everything per the manual)? I figured if you couldn't, I'd just tap the reverse lead to power the camera. Obviously this wouldn't be efficient if you CAN access the rear view camera while going forward. The only reason I'm asking is because the acc lead in my car is quite a b#%@h to get to.....thanks!
  9. Well it seems there has been an influx of calls, inquiring about the BT module. Now their site has reverted back to EXPECTED: 3/30/07! I'm thinking part of their shipment came in a day early? Atleast I hope so!
