GTOls2
I just got done installing my D3 in my GTO, i did the by pass correctly according to insturctions on these forums, had it all working without putting the dash all back together. I drove around for about 10 minutes, bypass worked great. I then finished the install, had everything back together and had everything working. I then drove around again and the bypass was working for about 10 minutes, then i get this error message saying the parking brake cable is not corrected properly and i lost it. My settings screen still says that the parking cable is on. Is this a problem with a lose ground wire, or could it be that the yellow mute wire is loose? When i was plugging in the cables, i noticed that the yellow mute wires metal end was still visibile thru the harness like it was still in place. Should i try putting some electrical tape on the harness and pin to make it a nice, tight fit. Or what else could I do to make that a tighter fit. Any help guys? Also, if i never had the bypass hooked up correctly, would I have ever been able to watch a movie while driving? That would mean i had it hooked up right, i just didn't have everything tight enough. Thanks so much!!!

GTOls2
what type of loose wire is that? loose ground or a loose mute wire?
JiveMasterT
It's probably the parking brake wire is loose. Double check your wire tap into the parking brake wire. I've seen this happen before where the wire tap doesn't quite get pressed all the way in and so the wire is loose.
