Playing DVDs and CD's and using nav at same time

I know the unit is supposed to be able to store nav dvd info so you can take the dvd maps out and play movies and cd's and stuff but when i take out the nav dvd it zooms out and can't show map detail...i did the bypass and it works great...just wish i could figure out why i can't take the nav dvd out to play cd's and still have nav working

When you program in a route, it stores it in memory. If you don't have a route programmed in, it zooms out

Or one of them there old fashioned cd changer dealies.

Program a route at the zoom level you want then ejest the disk. Then you can cancel the route and it will remain at the preset zoom level. It will however after some distence start to show the end of the map at which point if you drive off you will run off of the end of the earth and die!!!

 

 

 

 

Na!! it will just zoom out.
