MisFit
you get a lot of vibration under that dash though
cntrylvr79
Ah that's what zipties are for. Never had a problem zipping it right to the support for the stock radio. Or if for some reason you have to take the whole damn dash out like I did, you can sit it right on top of the radio opening. FYI there's 53 bolts that have to be removed to take out the dash that surronds the gauge cluster and radio.
hartung14
so i guess that takes quick additions to it pretty much out of the question. I do have another question though. I was planning on putting an xbox in the aux input. I got a power inverter and found a place to put the xbox but i wanted to be able to switch it out with, say, another console or something fairly quickly. with the brain in the dash this doesnt seem probable. is it conceivable to put an rca extension cable in the brain and then drill 3 holes for the wires somewhere in the dash for a quick trasition??? also where could i find the wires i would need?
