New 06 Trailblazer Install

Recommended Posts

Have to say thanks for all of the info I have gotten from you guys first. I have lurked for a long time and feel like I have read a ton of posts during this process.

FYI, I could have had the video bypass done on this install but opted not to. They would have had to shut of the XM and Nav antenna in order to get video running up front and I just didn't see the point. I won't be watching while I am driving and I didn't want to kill my XM and Nav so a passenger up front could watch. That is what the backseat is for :)

Amps and speakers go in next week!

Thanks for all the info you guys have provided.

Hi. I like the photos you posted. It gives me an idea of what to do to mine. I will be installing my unit this month in my 03 Trailblazer. I like where you put the antennas.

It looks as if you did not use any sort of face plate around the unit in the dash? Hmmm. Also, how and where did you run the wires for the rear view camera? I think that will be the hardest part of my install. Thanks

Buddy
