orbitalpunk
hi there, would anyone have idea as how to make the D3 look more like D2 regarding finish. the D2 is more of a grey matte color, where as the D3 is a glossy black. the matte gray matched my dash much better. any suggestions? i thought about light sand paper. any other ideas would be great. Thanks so much
archiea
I thought about spraying my unit with a dullcoat spray, often used for model kits to reduce the gloss... not sure what the final affect would be....

VBLUE42
Just be aware you will have to maintain a dullcoat finish. It will where off over time and start to look raelly bad. You will somehow have to remove the old coat in order to reapply a new coat and this wont be easy, so I think this a will not be a good option.
