Itchy Posted May 30, 2007 Report Share Posted May 30, 2007 I just installed the SWI-PS to the Honda Pilot. The problem I'm having is that the volume up and down buttons work intermittently. The mode, and channel up button work fine all the time, but not the volume - sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. I've reprogrammed the SWI several times and it still happens. vtail Posted July 1, 2007 Report Share Posted July 1, 2007 I have a simular problem with the swsips on my Pontiac Solstice. All buttons works perfectly except the volume up which is intermittant. I emailed them and was told to reprogram and to "hold the buttons down alittle longer". Itchy Posted July 1, 2007 Author Report Share Posted July 1, 2007 Did you connect the SWI white wire? If so it's resistance based. When I turn my steering wheel it changes resistance. Try grounding your steering wheel controls to a different ground. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
