migs109
ok so i have been burning music videos on dvd. everything seems ok when i first put it in and play it. but when the avic n3 has been playing dvd's for awhile, the burned dvds start skipping. and it only does this to burned dvds. but when i put in a regular movie it works just fine. does anyone have problems like this too. PaisanNYC
Keep in mind that burned DVDs are basically made with a laser heating a gel/dye on the disc to write the data too. The N3 will heat up ( as the others also) the disc playing in the slot, thereby possibly causing the gel/dye to warp. My theory is that lower quality discs use a gel/dye with a lower threshold for heat, because I have used Memorex and Princo and HP discs and have had skipping issues. Now that I use only Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden, which are premium grade, no issues whatsoever.

VBLUE42
This sounds like media issus to me. Memorex media is almost allways going to give you probloms. Even if they play find in your home dvd player. Try a different media.
