Recommended Posts

Speed Sense dk. blue/yellow ac PCM, top plug, pin 3

The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is in the front passenger side of the engine compartment.

you could use the negative parking light wire and run it through a relay

Parking Lights- black/lt. green - sw. or SJB, blu 52 pin plug, pin 31

The SJB (Smart Junction Box) is in the passenger kick panel.

I just installed a D1 in my 2007 Mustang, and a D3 the week before in a 2005.

I found it's easier to use a wire tap on the illumination wire at the headlight switch.

The switch pulls straight out, and if I remember correctly, the 2nd wire from the bottom on the right side of the left plug is +12 when the lights are on.

I did not connect the VSS because I didn't want to run a wire through the firewall.

well i had it put in by my installer. love the unit, it works great, however i have one problem. something is wrong with the dimming, it will only dim with the parking lights on (will not dim with headlights on) and sometimes it wont even dim with the parking lights on. im thinking i should tell him to change the dimming wire to one that is on the switches by the cig lighter, as stated by someone above.
