VOLSFAN Posted July 6, 2007 Report Share Posted July 6, 2007 I've got an AVIC-D3 on the way and I'm looking for the VSS location on my 2002 Ford Explorer. The rostra.com search yields: VSS Wire: LOCATION 12- POSITION 58 OR 68 OF 104 PIN CONNECTOR I've also seen several postings online that say: PCM, top of firewall, passenger side, s/b grey/black. However, I've noticed that there are two factory harnesses connected to the stock radio. One harness connects to a 16 pin connector on the factory radio for speakers, etc. The other harness connects to a 20 pin connector on the factory radio and only has two wires.
