cable guy Posted June 27, 2006 Report Share Posted June 27, 2006 Has anyone in the Toronto area upgraded their discs from the original 1.0 or 1.2 versions to the CDNV-60MT discs ? If so, have you noticed any improvement in Toronto mapping or are the rumours of "no significant updates" for Ontario true ? I downloaded the -60 but am hesitating on installing them just in case they cause problems. I don't know if I can go back to the "old" discs once I upgrade. Thanks. Shaka Posted June 28, 2006 Report Share Posted June 28, 2006 I went from v1.0 to v1.2 then finally to the 60-series CD set ... and aside from just points of interest, there are additional firmware updates. For example, instead of just saying "stay left, onto I-90" it will now say "EAST" or "WEST" after that ... giving you even more data! foxradio Posted July 23, 2006 Report Share Posted July 23, 2006 My Avic N-2 is bypassed, if I upgrade to the CNDV-60M disks will I loose some of my bypassed features ?
