Itchy
It worked fine for about 3 months, now there's no sound, and I keep seeing "Aquiring Signal" on the display. I doubled checked antenna connections and its secure, unhooked the power overnight to the tuner box, reconnected it this morning, hit the avic-d3 reset button, and still the same thing. any other suggestions? I'm pretty sure it's defective.
MisFit
call sirius and tell them to re-send the signal. it happens sometimes
bigred
you can also access your account on sirius.com and re-send the signal from there.
Itchy
yeah, i tried that, but i'm not even getting the preview channel as it's always stuck in "acquiring signal" mode. However I did find some valuable news from Pioneer. If buying the tuner from an authorized dealer, you're covered for an entire year by the dealer for direct exchanges. In this case I called up crutchfield and they emailed me a return shipping label. Upon receipt they'll send me another one. works for me!
