bryansride Posted July 13, 2007 Report Share Posted July 13, 2007 Well I received my D3 today and Installed it in my 03 Honda element. I used a wiring harness (metra 70-1721) Wired the connections correctly and I have no sound. None at all. I had an OEM stereo cd head Double din. When I removed the OEM head there were 3 connectors on the back. Did I miss something? Do I have an Amplified head unit and I need a different harness?? Sorry but this is all new to me. installthis06 Posted July 13, 2007 Report Share Posted July 13, 2007 I'm guessing that you need to hook up the remote (blue with white stripe) to the blue/andor blue with white wire on the honda harness. More than likely this will fix it. This is your amplifier turn on wire for the factory system. Let me know if it works. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
